The responsibilities of the Senior Functional Consultant Salesforce role will include working with clients and technical project teams to identify, analyze, document and explain business and system processes, business needs and systems requirements, manage Salesforce implementation projects, manage junior salesforce consultants and cross sell.
As a Sr. Functional Consultant Salesforce you will be working on different client projects where the responsibilities will include one or more of the following:
Process Engineering and Requirements Management
- Facilitate process and systems requirements discovery sessions with business and system stakeholders
- Document business processes using process flow diagrams
- Document Business Object Models
- Document System Flow Diagrams and Data Mappings
- Perform value stream analysis on business processes and make recommendations for optimization
- Document system requirements using Business Epics, User Stories, Data Flow Diagrams, Use Case Diagram, Business Entity Relationship
- Models, System Flow Diagram, UI Wireframes, User Personas, Class Diagrams etc.
- Write functional test cases and perform function testing
- Run Backlog Grooming sessions to walk through the requirements to business stakeholders and technical team members and get consensus and sign-offs
- Work with offshore team on project requirements
- Manage client milestones
- Manage Client Status Update meetings
Program Management
- Work with the delivery team to develop a delivery plan
- Vet deliver teams’ sizing and provide inputs
- Set expectations with the client on the delivery plan
- Track schedule, cost, and quality for the client solution using Agile delivery approach
- Manage client demos and feedback
- Manage risks and issues and keep the client team and Mirketa team updated on those
Client Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with client personnel including the top management team members.
- Stay in tune with client business needs, work with Mirketa technical team to discuss ideas on how we can help the client with those needs and make solution recommendations to the clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have 8+ years of experience in Product Owner/BA role
- Must have 2+ years of experience working on Salesforce projects
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have excellent meeting facilitation skills and presentation skills
- Must have technical background to understand the basic building blocks of the software
- Must be comfortable with working in a small startup environment
- Must have experience working with Agile team in PO role
- Must be able to work under pressure with tight timelines
- Must be able to think of solutions and persuade people towards a solution
- Must have Salesforce Consultant certifications
- Must be able to plan work and manage team deliverables
- Must have: Consulting background
- Self-motivated individual who exhibits sense of urgency in completing tasks
- Must have a bachelor’s degree
- NICE to have experience creating RFP and RFI

Travel
- Will require 30% travel within and outside US to meet clients and project team.
