Hackathon: Terms and Conditions
- The hackathon is open to individuals or teams (3 members each).
- Participants must register for the hackathon before the registration deadline.
- The hackathon is open to all Mirketans
- The hackathon focuses on the talent to develop AI-driven solutions using open-source such as Llama models with added emphasis on but not restricted to Salesforce (Agentforce) integrations.
- Projects can involve a variety of use cases involving various enterprise application platforms such as Salesforce/MS Dynamics/ Net Suite/Service Now/AWS/Azure/GCP/any other paid and/or open source platform powered automations, CRM analytics, AI-powered customer support, business process automation, and more.
- Participants must use open source models like the Llama models provided through platforms like Hugging Face, Groq, DeepInfra, or through self-hosting solutions like Ollama.
- Adherence to the Llama models’ licensing and usage restrictions is required.
- Projects must be submitted before the final deadline.
- Each project should include:
- A description of the problem being solved and how it applies to the Agentforce (Salesforce, if used) context.
- Detailed architecture and design of the AI and Salesforce/other application(s) integration.
- Instructions for running the solution (preferably a GitHub repository).
- A working live and/or screen-recorded demo showcasing the AI-driven solution
- The presentation should clearly underline the architecture and technology including the integration details between technologies through process flows, system-architecture diagrams, etc
- By participating, you grant the organizers permission to showcase your project for promotional purposes.
- Ensure your project does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property, including Salesforce API usage.
- Ensure your project does not violate compliance regulations and create security gaps in third party systems. Mirketa does not own responsibility for such issues.
- Participants must follow respectful, collaborative practices throughout the hackathon.
- Harassment, discrimination, or unethical practices will lead to disqualification.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited projects must be original or properly attribute any third-party code.
Projects will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Innovation and Creativity
How original or creative is the solution? Does it address a unique problem or apply new ideas to existing challenges? - Impact and Relevance
Does the project solve a real-world problem? How significant is the impact of this solution, and is it relevant to the hackathon’s theme or goal? - Functionality and User Experience (UX)
Is the project fully functional, or is it still in a concept phase? Does it provide a seamless, user-friendly experience? The usability of the project, interface, and user journey can be major factors. - Presentation and Pitch
How well is the project presented? A good pitch can make a significant difference, as judges will assess the clarity of the idea, the problem statement, solution explanation, and enthusiasm of the team. - Feasibility and Scalability
Is the project practical, and could it be implemented or scaled in real-world applications? Judges will consider the feasibility of taking the project from concept to a functioning solution. - Team Collaboration and Approach
The Mirketa Hack-AI-thon 2024 also reward teamwork and collaborative spirit. Judges will look at how well the team worked together, handled challenges, and leveraged each member’s skills.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams or individuals, based on the judging criteria.
- Special prizes may be awarded for the Best Salesforce AI Integration or Best Business Process Automation.
- Prizes are non-transferable and must be claimed within a specified timeframe.
- Hackathon organizers are not responsible for any damage or losses incurred during the event.
- Participants are responsible for backing up their code and data.
- Participants must comply with local data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) when handling Salesforce/any other application(s) data.
- No sensitive customer data should be exposed or mishandled during or after the event.
- The organizers reserve the right to cancel or make changes to the event, prizes, or deadlines.
- Any changes will be communicated to participants promptly.
- By registering for the hackathon, you agree to abide by these rules, terms and conditions.

By participating in the Hack-AI-thon 2024 hosted by Mirketa Inc, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the use of Salesforce orgs and AI model instances provided to you:
Limited Use: The access URLs, login credentials, and API keys provided to you are intended solely for use during the hackathon. Any use of these resources for purposes outside of the hackathon is strictly prohibited.
Confidentiality: You agree not to share the access URLs, login credentials, or API keys with anyone outside of Mirketa Inc. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals not participating in the hackathon or those who are not authorized personnel within the company.
Security Compliance: It is your responsibility to ensure that all access is conducted in a secure manner. Please take all necessary precautions to protect this sensitive information.
Consequences of Misuse: Any violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of access to the provided resources and may lead to further disciplinary actions as deemed appropriate by Mirketa Inc.
