The responsibilities of the Sales Manager will include identifying, prospecting, and securing business opportunities with Banks, Credit Unions, and Other Financial Institutions to support new revenue growth in business and technical services in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Development and Consulting.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.
- Develops sales opportunities with Financial Institutions by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
- Closes new accounts by answering the telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for new account prospects and growth opportunities within active and inactive accounts.
- Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure profitable new business. This may include sales/solutions calls, networking/marketing activities, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals, and client meetings.
- Work closely with the consulting team to strategize and build sales pipelines
- Develop an understanding of Mirketa services and offerings and be able to identify opportunities with prospective clients in the Financial domain.
- Strengthen the company’s brand.
- Build strategic partnerships with Salesforce Account Executives.
- Create strategic and tactical plans to uncover and close a wide range of solutions based business.
- Participate in Marketing Events organized by Salesforce.
- Build and maintain a relationship with Salesforce AEs.
- Organize marketing events targeting FI executives.
- Create new opportunities with current accounts.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must have experience selling consulting services to banks.
- Must be comfortable with working in a small startup environment with limited resources.
- Must be able to work under pressure with set sales target goals.
- Must be an out of the box thinker.
- Must have experience selling Salesforce or any other SaaS product Development and Implementation services.
- Consultative selling, Polished Corporate Communication Style, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Technical Understanding, Building Relationships, People Skills, Customer Focus, Professionalism, Motivation for Sales.
- Self-motivated individual who exhibits a sense of urgency in all sales and service-related activities.
- Proven track record driving revenue growth in Software Development Services.
- Experience selling onsite-offshore software development services.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven direct sales experience with a focus in a professional services environment.
- Must have experience with Inside Sales using social media and email marketing.
- Should be comfortable in dealing with the highest levels of decision-makers in an organization (e.g., VP IT/Engineering, CFO, Director R & D, CIO, etc.).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong emphasis on the ability to listen and present appropriate solutions.
- Must have experience generating new business from existing accounts.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree.
