Mass Quick Actions on Related Lists (beta) – no-code

You can now add quick actions directly on related lists. Your users can create related records for items in the list without leaving the page. Or they can select up to 100 records in the related list and perform mass updates instead of single record updates.
To add quick actions from the Lightning App Builder, add or select the Dynamic Related List – Single component on the record page, and then, in the properties pane, click Add Action.
Use Case: Assume if users want to close multiple cases together, include an action=Close Cases(s)
Now, from list view, select the cases and hit Close Case quick action.

How many times have you updated a field and refreshed the page to see the latest? You avoid reading the dirty data and would like to see the updated data.
Summer ’23 offers you RefreshAPI (GA) and you can call on your will. This happens with less resources and improves user experience of not seeing inconsistent data and behaves a true Single Page Application like ReactJS and Angular.
Example:
A component on your righthand side – the account name is updated and on clicking Refresh View, the name and wherever the references are, gets updated without any page refresh. For this, you use RefreshEvent and dispatch it.

Now users can search and filter their Data Table record results. The search returns the first 1,500 items. Initially, 200 records display. As you scroll through the results, additional records load progressively in groups of 100. The search results also show the number of items displayed and the total number of items found.

Creating New Processes Using Process Builder is Disabled

To take the next step toward retiring Process Builder processes, you can no longer create new processes. You can still activate, deactivate, and edit your existing Process Builder processes and continue to create automations in Flow Builder. Most Process Builder use cases are now supported in and work better in Flow.
To test and create processes for use in managed packages, developer orgs still allow you to create processes.

Data Table can now display x records selected (including 1500 records)

Data Table in Salesforce Flow can now display 1500 records which ensures that the table remains responsive and fast. To improve the transparency and usability of the table, Salesforce started showing the number of items that are fetched and the number of items that the user selects from the large list of the Data Table.

Use Email Templates and Merge Fields Directly in Salesforce Flows

Another of my favorite features in Summer ’23 release. You can now use Lightning and Classic email templates directly in Flows in the Send Email action. If your email template has merge fields, you can use the recipient record or a related record to populate the merge fields. Or, you can use both.
Previously, you couldn’t use email templates directly in Salesforce Flows and needed to create “Email Alerts” to use email templates.
